Warren Allen Brown, a resident of Dothan, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home at the age of 64.


A celebration of life will be held 2 pm, Monday, December 21, 2020 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Strickland officiating. Graveside services will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Monday prior to service time.


Mr. Brown was born April 30, 1956 in Dothan, AL. He graduated from Ashford Academy in 1975 and earned his Associate of Science Degree from Wallace Community College. He married Linda Gail Cobb on February 7, 1977. Together they built their life in Dothan raising two children, Kim and Allen. Warren was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He held HVAC certifications with the Alabama Board of Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors, Alabama Refrigeration Contract Certification and numerous HVAC industry related license and certificates. Mr. Brown retired from Sony Magnetic Products of America in 2005 and has since worked as a Commercial HVAC Technician at Wallace Community College and since 2014 with CBRE. He was promoted to district manager with CBRE, where he loved his work as a supervisor, troubleshooting advanced technical problems and mentoring technicians in their daily activities.


Mr. Brown was predeceased by his parents, Grover Webster Brown and Kathleen Holland Brown. Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Linda, daughter Kim Fuller and husband Jason Fuller of Dothan AL, son Allen Brown of Dothan AL, and four precious grandchildren, whom held his heart, Hayes Brown and Bennett Brown of Auburn AL and Townes Fuller and Kathleen Avis Fuller of Dothan, AL. Other survivors include his sister, Jane Kitching and husband Brian Kirrane of Bradenton FL and sister Kathy Cleveland and husband Dr. Bob Cleveland of Dothan, nephews Robert Cleveland and wife, Lauren Glisson Cleveland of Birmingham AL, Sarah Elizabeth Carroll and husband John (JT) Carroll of Athens GA, Carson Cleveland and fiancé Meaghan Lynch of Nashville TN and Kevin Myers of Bradenton FL. Each of his nephews and nieces adored their Uncle Warren; his antics, laughter, Alabama football games, hunting, fishing, target shooting and sports throughout their growing up years. Warren coached little league and All-Star Baseball teams for many years in Dothan.
