Obituary: Mr. Wayne M. Stephenson 

            Mr. Wayne M. Stephenson of New Brockton passed away Sunday morning, August 5, 2012 at the family residence following an extended illness. He was 69.  

             Funeral services will be 3:00pm Tuesday from the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Rev. Cliff Quincey officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday beginning at 2:00pm and continuing until service time.  

              Wayne was born April 4, 1943 in Coffee County to the late George A. and Allene Ellis Stephenson. He was retired as a plumber and pipe fitter. A son, Robert Stephenson preceded him in death . 

                Survivors include his wife, Josephine Long Stephenson, New Brockton, daughter: Tina Stephenson, New Brockton, son: Joey Stephenson (Susan), New Brockton, brother: Travis Stephenson (Betty), New Brockton, grandchildren: Jessica Stephenson, Brittney Long, Kimberly Stephenson, Hannah Ellis and Cassie Stephenson, great grandchildren: Robert, Carson and Rileigh, nieces and nephews.
