Graveside services with military honors will be held 12pm on Friday, January 21, 2022, in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations will be made to Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Dothan, AL 36302.

Wayne Roden, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at a local hospital. He was 77 years old.
Wayne was born on February 24, 1944. Wayne worked for Alabama Power for several years before transferring to Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant as a machinist. During his time at Farley, Wayne started a softball league and would lead his team to several victories and championships. He would work at Farley for more that 30 years before retiring. In his pastime, Wayne could be found camping and bass fishing on Lake Eufaula.
Wayne was preceded by his parents; and one brother, Glen Roden. .
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Juanita A. Roden; his children, Brandi (Bill) Dean, Margo Clay, and Wayne (Karyl) Roden; his five grandchildren; his one great-grandchild; his sister, Wanda Martinez; and extended family members and friends.
