Wendy Sue Bucklew, a resident of Cottonwood, passed away early Monday morning, February 7, 2022.


Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cottonwood with Rev. Derek Womack officiating.


Wendy was born July 29, 1976 in Meridian, Mississippi to Johnny Dale and Mary Virginia Cason Bucklew and moved to Cottonwood at an early age where she lived most of her life. She worked in food service for several years. Wendy loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a member of Cottonwood United Methodist Church.


In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.


She is preceded in death by her father.


Wendy is survived by a special companion, Charles J. Littlefield of Cottonwood; her mother, Mary Cason Yates of Cottonwood; brothers, Robert Sirmans (Shelia) of Ashford and Richard Tombs of Twin Falls, ID; a sister, Mary Ann Bell (Russ) of Shiloh, GA; step-children, Brittany Nicole Adams (Brandon), Breanna Desire Dannels (Casper) and Camron Dozier; step grandchildren, Kimberly, Robert, Tony and Caden; several nieces and nephews also survive.
