Williams Funeral Home of Graceville 5283 Brown Street Graceville, FL 32440 (850) 263-5116 Wilda Faye Scurlock Mrs. Wilda Faye Scurlock, age 83, of Graceville, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was born February 7, 1930. Mrs. Scurlock was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Artis Scurlock. At the time of his passing, Mr. and Mrs. Scurlock, who were wed on October 26, 1946, had been married for 64 years. Mrs. Scurlock is survived by five children, Sherry Richards (Joe), Garris Scurlock (Diane), Gail Daffin (Kenneth), Craig Scurlock (Cheryl), and Angela Scurlock Williams (Melvin); seven grandchildren and their families, Timothy and Katherine Richards, Gentry and Jeremy McClenny, Amanda and Robert Burkett, Kerry and Shane Gilmore, Blair Daffin, Brandy Scurlock, and Kristin Scurlock; twelve great-grandchild-ren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and one very special caregiver, Linda Boster.

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be,So He put His arms around you, and whispered, "Come to Me"; With tearful eyes, we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

The family will receive friends on Friday morning, October 25, 2013, at 10 AM, at the Grace Assembly of God Church in Chipley, Florida. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM, with Pastor Dallas M. Pettis, presiding. Interment will follow at the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery in the Glass Community, Cottondale, Florida. Williams Funeral Home of Graceville is in charge of arrangements.
