Friends will be received from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Glover Funeral Home in Dothan, Alabama.  A graveside service will follow at Enon Church of Christ Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Troy West officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. Willanne was born in Pansy, Alabama on January 10, 1934, the first child of the late Robert and Mary (White) Meadows.  She was affectionately called “Billy” by her grandmother and “Sister” by her brothers and sister.

She was an Ashford High School Yellow Jacket, where she played trombone in the band, was the May Day Queen, and Homecoming Queen.  After graduation, she attended and graduated from Huntington College in Montgomery, Alabama, where she was a proud member of the tumbling team.

On November 5, 1955, she married her high school sweetheart, the late, Carlton Lester Ingram, at Enon Church of Christ.  They moved to Crestview, Florida where they owned and operated Crestview Vault and Memorial Company.

Survivors are her daughters; Karen Lissa Ingram and Kimberly Ann Ingram Ireland (Mike); a granddaughter, Emily Ireland Moore (Scottye); two great-grandchildren, Christopher Joseph Smith (father-Colton Smith) and Rebecca Ripley Moore; a sister, Mary Elaine Boyer (Jim) and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert Brook Meadows and Ronald Kipling Meadows.

Willanne was a member of the sorority Beta Sigma Phi and the Decorative Arts Society.  Throughout her life, she enjoyed many hobbies, reading, sewing, gardening, embroidering, finishing furniture, painting, and coloring.
