Mr. William (Billy) Jay Hutchinson, age 54, a resident of Dothan (formerly of Baker Hill), died Friday, October 6, 2023, at his residence.

There will be no services held at this time.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity.

Mr. Hutchinson was born on May 2, 1969, in Madison, Wisconsin the son of William Jordan Hutchinson and Loretta Marie Otwell. He lived most of his early years in Palm Springs, California before moving to Baker Hill in 1994 then moved to Dothan in 2013. Billy worked at Cooper Lighting in Eufaula for 15 years before becoming disabled in 2010. He enjoyed hunting, writing in his journal, and drawing.  Billy enjoyed hanging out with the children outside when he was able.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Tabatha Wetherby Hutchinson; 2 sons, Dawson and Will Hutchinson; daughter, Piper Hutchinson all of Dothan; Mother, Loretta Marie, California; 2 brothers, Keane Hutchinson, Daytona, FL; Clinton Hutchinson, Jacksonville, FL and sister, Loni Hutchinson, Jacksonville, FL; step-mother, Jan Hutchinson, Baker Hill; step-sister, Marsha Blizzard, Florida; Mother-in-law, Rita Graddy Wood, Dothan and Father-in-law, Sammy Wetherby, Winchester, Kentucky; 2 niece and 1 nephew.
