 William Greg Johnson, 69, passed away on July 31, 2022, at Southeast Health. He was born in Dothan, AL., to Maxwell Thornell Johnson and Frances (Kelley) Johnson.

Funeral Services will 11 AM, Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive fiends from 10 AM until service time, burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.

Greg was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him.  He was a graduate of Rehobeth High School and enjoyed fishing. Greg was the owner/operator of Davis Oil company.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Maxwell Johnson, wife, Melinda (Singletary)Johnson, brother, Glen Johnson, nephew, Kenneth Johnson, and a sister-in-law, Cindy Johnson.

He is survived by his mother, Frances (Kelley) Fontenot, two daughters, Amy Johnson Penn (Jason), Stephanie Johnson Stewart, seven grandchildren, Sarah Johnson, Ryan Morgan, Madalyn Penn, Jackson Brooks, Zane Penn, Kason Penn and Isabella Johnson, brothers, Kenneth (Robyn) Johnson, Tony (Annie) Johnson, Alan (Jackie) Johnson, sister-in-law, Susan Johnson, along with several nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving family members and friends.

The employees of Davis Oil company will serve as pallbearers.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Rehobeth Jr Bass Club c/o: Mike Johnson, 24 Audra Ct. Dothan, AL., 36305.
