WILLIAM HUDSPETH


DOTHAN, AL… William Hudspeth, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024, at a Dothan hospital. He was 84.


          Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Headland, Alabama, with Reverend Charles Goldsmith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.


          Mr. Hudspeth was born to the late Fletcher William Hudspeth, Sr. and Mary Addie Meadows. He worked and retired from W.J. Powell Company, Inc. He had lived in Dothan, Alabama for the last sixty years. He was a proud father of his two sons.


          Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of sixty-three years, Angeline Virginia Treadaway Hudspeth; his daughter-in-law, Terri Lynn Hudspeth; and his sister, Gloria Faye Stevenson.


          Leaving to cherish his memories is his sons, Greg Hudspeth (Diane) and Eddie Hudspeth; his brothers, Max Hudspeth and Rex Hudspeth; his brothers-in-law, Rex Treadaway and Kenneth Treadaway (Janice); his grandchildren, Lauren Parker, Justin Feller, Jessica Hudspeth, Thomas Hudspeth, Corey Hudspeth, and Lynsey Hudspeth; and his six greatly loved great-grandchildren.


          Serving as pallbearers will be his sons, grandsons, and brothers.
