Date: Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2 pm on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Park Pavilion. The family will receive friends in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Friday from 1-2 pm.








William James Palmer, Jr., a resident of Ozark, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at his residence. He was 71 years old.



Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2 pm on Friday, June 4, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Park Pavilion. The family will receive friends in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Friday from 1-2 pm.


Mr. Palmer was born on July 5, 1949, to the late William James and Marcel Wiggins Palmer. While in high school, he was drafted into the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Palmer was a very spiritual man of God. He became an ordained minister and began his spiritual journey. Mr. Palmer was a straightforward man who believed in living in the moment.


Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his father, William James Palmer, Sr., his mother, Marcel Wiggins, and his stepfather, Arthur Gunner.



Survivors include his children, Sandy LeAnne (Ezra Hicks) Palmer, Erik Sean Palmer, and Josh James Palmer; his 7 grandchildren, Ashleigh Hanson, Ashley Victoria Amirkhanian, Halden Fraley, Nikolai Fraley, Carolyn Palmer, Erik Pernisie, and Victor Pernisie; his 2 sisters, Michelle Gunner and Nicole Mueller; and several nieces and nephews.
