William R Walker aka “Midnight Lover” succumbed to cancer on November 9, 2021 at his home in Ozark, AL with his family at his side.


A visitation will be held 4 – 6pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home.


He was preceded in death by three brothers, Rex, Wayne, and Johnny Walker, all of Ozark; One sister, Pearl Reeves of Elba, AL; four grandchildren, Geoffry of Guymon, OK, Damien of Ozark, AL, Timothy of Opelika, AL, and Michael of Midland City, AL.



William was 70 years young and is survived by his wife Betty; sons, William Jr., Newman, and Russell of Ozark; three daughters, Philisha of Daleville, Paula of Ozark, and Angilique of OK; eight grandchildren, Dedra and Alania of Guymon OK, Kaileigh of Midland City, AL, Jade and Isaac of Ozark, AL, Ethan and William of Enterprise, AL and Stephen of North Carolina; six great-grandchildren, Koda, Ethaniel, Jaylon, and Geoana all of Guymon OK, and Damien and Mason of Ozark, AL,; and a brother, Gerald of Ozark, AL. He is gone but not forgotten for he lives in all who knew him.
