MIDLAND  CITY. . .Willie Kennedy Garrett, a resident of Midland City, died Friday night, May 28, 2021, in Westside Terrace. She was 83.

   Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 30, 2021, in the Midland City Cemetery with Reverend George Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

   In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Midland City Baptist Church, P.O. Box 694, Midland City, AL 36350.

   Ms. Garrett was born in Barbour County and lived in Midland City most of her lifetime. She was the daughter of the late Dock Kennedy and Dealer Lewis Kennedy. Ms. Garrett was a member of the Midland City Baptist Church.

   Surviving relatives include a son, Marty Garrett (Kim), Dothan; a sister-in-law, Ann Kennedy, Echo Community; numerous nieces and nephews.
