Wilma Goins

Wilma Goins, aged 82, passed away on March 1, 2024, after an extended illness. Born June 9, 1941, in Koln, Germany, she was raised during and in the aftermath of WWII and was very proud of her heritage. Upon moving to the US in the early 1970s, she thrived as a proud citizen.

Wilma was admired for her independence, perseverance, intelligence and beauty. A savvy entrepreneur, she built a successful career in the pet industry and other businesses over the years. She had a deep appreciation for history, the arts, and antiques which she instilled in herchildren. All her life Wilma was an advocate for people and animals, volunteering for several community organizations. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her family and all who were blessed to know her.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister and brother, and daughter, Patty. She is survived by her son, Cary, and his wife, Veronica, along with her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
