Wrinnie Edgar Evans, Jr., age 74, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Thursday, September 8, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 12, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Enterprise Chapel with Rev. Curtis Manning and Rev. John Parker officiating.  Burial will follow in Consolation Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M., Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Enterprise Chapel. 

Wrinnie served as pastor of Enterprise Bible Methodist Church for more than 30 years and provided for his family as a brick mason.  He loved his community and extended his hospitality and generosity to many who were in need.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Carrie Ruiz, parents Wrinnie and Rosie Evans, and sister Annette.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Grace Evans, Enterprise, AL; daughters, Christen Moore (Kevin), Enterprise, AL; Tracy Hersman (Kent), Paris, KY; Sarah Hedstrom, Newton, AL; granddaughters, Colleen (Bill), Autumn, Cheyenne, Kylie, Maelee, Isabella, Chari, Tsunade, Sarah Beth; grandsons, Garrett (Hannah), Hunter, Kelton, Dallas, Jonathan, Will; brothers, Jimmy Evans (Dianne) and Tim Evans; sisters, Rita Tipton (Ernie), Mavis Long, and Audrey (Robert).
