Xyla Summers

Xyla Summers of Clayhatchee, AL passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 88.

         

          Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Hixson and Rev. Robert Beasley officiating.  Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM., Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the funeral home.  The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service time.

 

          Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara (Steve) Smith, Clayhatchee, AL; Sandra Elaine (Ken) Cherry, Hartford, AL; Linda (Rich) Hickey, Montgomery, AL; one son, Larry Summers, Niceville, FL; grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Smith; Summer (Michael) Martin; Rebecca Bazan; Joseph Bazan; Hailey Cherry; five great-grandchildren.
