Yvonne Charlene (Brunty) Ottensman

Yvonne Charlene (Brunty) Ottensman, a resident of Ozark, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021. She was 85 years old.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest in Sheridan Cemetery in Michigan.

Yvonne was born on December 21, 1935 to the late Edwin and Emaline Deacons in Sheridan, Michigan. While she lived in Michigan, her and her husband, Joe, enjoyed riding motorcycles with the Michigan Road Riders. They would later move to the Ozark area and continue to ride with The Gold Wings Road Riders. Yvonne was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who adored spending time with her family. When she was able, she would spend time in her garden planting her beautiful flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Ottensman; her siblings, John, Buddy and Kerry Deacons; her daughter, Josette Ottensman; and her grandson, Edwin Stark.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Earl Wellwood, Debbie (Denise) Hunt, Cathlene Horn (Rick Blackman), Tina (Stephen) Stark, Roxann Smallwood, and Robert Thorne; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; her sisters, Carol (Talmage) Hicks and Sharron Jenkins; her sister-in-law, Laura Woodruff and her special K-9 Companion, Gracie.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Debbie Hancock, Nurse Brett, and Kindred Hospice for all the love and care given to their mother during this difficult time.
