Mrs. Zadie Lou Alford McDougald of Westville, Florida went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 24, 2019 at the age of 82.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Alford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church on Wednesday. Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Zadie was born January 07, 1937 to the late Dwar and Ola McDaniel Alford. She was a very loving, devoted and hard-working mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Zadie retired from Wiregrass Nursing Home as a CNA. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended and served the Lord as long as her health allowed.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Sherrel McDougald; two sisters, Vonnie Zorn, and Jewel Alford.

She is survived by two sons, Stacey McDougald (Shirley), and Stewart McDougald (Ardena Gillman) all of Westville, FL; three grandchildren, Meagan Meeks (Danny) of Ponce de Leon, FL, Kevin McDougald (Brandi), and Elizabeth Stuck all of DeFuniak Springs, FL; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Lewis (Paul) of Pensacola, FL.
