"Martha has No Regrets for Not Supporting Trump" - Bobby Bright Calls on State GOP to Censure Martha Roby

Republican Congressional Candidate Bobby Bright said today that Martha Roby’s comments that she has “No Regrets” for calling on Donald Trump to step aside in 2016 warrants censure by the Republican State Executive Committee.

 

In an interview with Fox News this morning, Mrs. Roby was asked about her 2016 statement that Mr. Trump should be removed from the Republican ticket. She replied that she had “No Regrets” for her 2016 comments.

 

“I ask the Republican State Party to issue a censure against Mrs. Roby’s continued arrogant, unapologetic defiance of the President,” said Bobby Bright earlier today.

 

Bright also stated “Mrs. Roby’s segment on Fox News is another prime example of her recklessness and lack of judgment. Now we know that she has absolutely no regrets betraying the President once, who is to say that she will not betray him again?”

 

Bobby Bright faces Martha Roby in Tuesday’s Republican Runoff Election for the 2^nd Congressional District.
